Samsung has finally launched the much rumored Galaxy S7 at CES 2016. The Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge are the two new flagship android smartphones from Samsung. It is backed by the Qualcomm MSM8996 snapdragon 820 and Exynos 8890 octa chipset which features an octa-core processor and Adreno 530 GPU. It is the first Samsung Galaxy to have 4 GB RAM. This time Samsung has given some remarkable features in its new flagship android smartphone.
With a powerful processor there comes the problem of overheating. But the new Galaxy S7 has an inbuilt water-cooling mechanism which prevents overheating. Their is a water filled tube underneath the battery which keeps the phone cool even during heavy usage. Other important feature includes the 'Always On Display'. With AOD the phone is capable of showing several notifications, a clock, a calender and people edge notifications by illuminating required pixels on the screen thereby saving the battery from unusual drainage. This feature is similar to the Moto Display where you see notifications without actually activating the phone's screen.
Coming to the storage, Galaxy S7 comes in two variants. One is the 32 GB model and another is the 64 GB model. The storage can be further expanded to 200 GB via micro SD cards. In the United States Samsung will only release the 32 GB variant, however the 64 GB model may be released soon in the US.
We will talk about the phone later. Right now this post will tell you about all the indicator icons in Galaxy S7.
